Our team is passionate about working to reduce global food shortages and fight unsustainable farming practices by introducing an easy system of farming black soldier flies and collecting their larvae as a more sustainable source of protein.

Meet the Team!
William O'Brien is a fourth year Industrial Engineering major at Cal Poly, his interests include surfing, exploring San Luis Obispo, and improving sustainability. He is using his technical background to contribute to the project.

Ian Parsons is a fourth year Experience Industry Management Major concentrating in Entrepreneurship. His passions include, backpacking, playing soccer, and design. He will help with ideas on how to scale.

Rosalie Leborgne is a fourth year anthropology and geography major at Cal Poly. She is passionate about languages, currently pursing a Spanish minor and taking Portuguese lessons outside of school. When she is not trying to learn a new language you will most likely find her walking the halls of any library or museum where she loves finding new reads that help us think holistically about different cultures.

Ellis Tirado is a third year Business major concentrating in accounting. He is passionate about golf, movies, and traveling. He will be able to help with economic efficiency.
